Yes, Steve was a team player and the best center in the Grand Valley League. Played FB with him throughout HS and enjoyed his sense of humor. He was a gentleman and a very intelligent student. I was crushed to hear he had passed and I my heart felt condolences to the Family.

Steve and I attended Godwin school together and it was a joy to play football with him for 4 years. He was a great center and really cared about his fellow teammates.
I saw him after I got back from the service and enjoyed a couple beers together.
A great person and gentleman.
