Not sure what to say?

I just now have learned of Stephen's passing and am greatly saddened. I first met him when he joined WSBK-TV in Boston. As a fellow studio engineer it was my honor to have done some of his training at the station and I immediately saw that he would 'go places' because of his intelligence and drive. Later in life when I was the Transmitter Supervisor at WSVN-TV in Miami once again our paths crossed when he worked for WPLG-TV in Miami and we were once again in communication. My thoughts early...

Steve was a wonderful person and a great boss. He will be missed. My deepest condolences to Lucy and his children.

Steve was absolutely the best boss anyone could ever want. Not only looking after the benefits of the company, but of his employees as well, and made them feel that they were more important. He mattered to all of us. he will be missed in life but will live on in memories and stories.

The Society of Broadcast Engineers, Atlanta GA chapter lost a member, supporter and friend with Steve's passing. May his kind efforts to his peers never be forgotten

I worked for Steve @ WGCL. He was a great man and a pleasure to for. He will be missed by many people. It was my honor to know him. I want to give my deepest condolences to Lucy and their children.

I worked with Steve on the Don Shula Show when he was Chief Engineer at WPLG Channel 10. He was hugely talented, and a wonderful human being.

My thoughts and prayers are with Stephen's family.May he rest in peace

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Steve at WJXT in Jacksonville. I was saddened to hear of his passing. I will always remember him fondly.

Steven's family lived on Spruce Street, as did my family. We were neighborhood kids who grew up together. He played ball at the park with my brother, who also died of cancer. I was saddened to read of Stephen's passing, but happy that he had such a loving family and wonderful friends, and had great personal accomplishments in his very short life.
