Not sure what to say?

To Stephen's loved ones -
How shocked and saddened I was to hear of Stephen's death. Many, many years ago in Concord, my brother, Dickie, Stephen, the Croft boys, the Stetson boys and I (yes, a tomboy back then) would play baseball together for hours and hours at the Elks Field - what fun! My sincere condolences to all Steve's survivors, especially Betty. Any premature death is tragic; Steve was a kind soul, a friend, a diligent co-worker and a gentle man. I will miss him. May he rest in peace.

Amazing how people come in and out of your lives.
I have often thought Steve didn't look much older that day, than he did in high school. The picture in the paper with his obituary...
