Stephen Douglas Foster

Years late, but better late than not at all. I want to share some thoughts about "Mr. Foster." I was thinking of him today while walking in Boston, and thought, I wouldn't be where I am today if it were not for Steve. We connected right away, my junior year at FHS in his English class. We were very much alike, not at the beginning, and not that I realized it, but he did. He was my teacher, my mentor, my "example", and my friend. He deftly directed, and encouraged, and rewarded me realizing...

I had mr Foster as an English teacher at Foxboro High school in the early 70s. He was a fantastic teacher

Mr Foster was my homeroom teacher I believe it was in my sophomore year...he was ever so pleasant..

I remember when I had Mr Foster in my home room when I a fresh man!!He was such a wonderful man!!My deepest condolences and sympathies to the family!
