Colonial Funeral Homes - Brick Obituary

Stephen Francello, 61, of Point Pleasant Boro passed away Thursday, June 9, 2022 at his residence.  He was born in Syracuse, NY and grew up in Point Pleasant, New Jersey before moving to Richmond, Virginia for 20 years. He eventually moved back to Point Pleasant in 2015.

Steve worked at Ruby Tuesdays as a restaurant manager for most of his life. He had a deep love for sports, especially baseball and football, his favorite teams were the New York Yankees and the New York Giants. He had a lot of love for his Lakeside family as a Little League Coach.  If he wasn't watching sports, you could find him with a fishing pole in his hand. He would go anytime he had the chance. Anyone who was lucky enough to meet Steve knew he was one of a kind. His energy and contagious laughter would light up a whole room. Steve was a goofball that put a smile on everyone’s face and could turn their day around. He loved everyone and treated them like family. Steve will always be remembered for his kindness, putting others before himself, endless jokes, and making everyone laugh. There was no one more loyal and trustworthy, to know him was to love him.

He was predeceased by his brother James Francello and his mother Lois Francello.

Surviving are three children Russell, Michael, and Emma; his brother Joseph; his nieces and nephews Sara, Eric, and Gemma; his aunt Marjorie Mcghee; his father Joseph and his dog Major.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 15th from 4:00-8:00pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 Hwy.88, Brick.  A Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 11:00am at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Brielle.
