Not sure what to say?

I miss you and our phone calls all the time brother!!!! Would have loved having THAT-conversation after that last Michigan/Wisconsin game...instead I´ll just drink a beer!!

My brother Steve, I miss you everyday, but it helps to know that you are in heaven and are at peace.

Steve was a great friend of mine in high school, we had a great time together and will always remember the good times we had bowling on the bowling machine at the (Mothers) Home Tavern. Rest in peace brother

Good friend for many year. Working friends at carborundum. I seen him helping many of his friends. He loved refereeing basketball games. He had told me a few times he wanted to be a history teacher. He'll live on in our memories. What a laugh he had

Steve was my first crush as a little girl in Logan watching my dad play softball with Steve. I last saw him at Bill Fickles house several years ago-we exchanged a hug and reminisced of the old days at the City Park. He’s in heaven with my dad (Pete Hartley) who we lost 10/31 to covid. My deepest sympathy to your family

My family moved to Logan, Ohio in October 1956. Steve was my first friend and remained so for the next 64 years. Steve was the best man in our wedding in 1970 (50 years ago). Over the years I received many letters and phone calls/texts praising the team up north (UM) and just the opposite for my Buckeyes. Steve, Bill Fickel and myself (the three amigos) have spent many happy times together through the years. To Steve's family we send our prayers and condolences. We will miss him.

So sorry to hear of Steve’s passing. It’s just sad to see such a happy go lucky guy leave us so soon. Our prayers are with you all in this difficult time.

With Steve & Kathy we must have moved Beth and Chuck's family at least a dozen times (ok maybe three times) but pretty sure we were the original Parents and a Car with Trailer and a Truck. Steve knew where the best coffee was made and always enjoyed the cups of fresh brewed coffee we shared during those moves. An all around good man. We will miss our friend. Eternal rest grant unto him and let perpetual light shine upon him.

Steve was more than a friend, he was a brother for more than 40 years. Our families were very close when we lived Michigan.
We grew up together in the labor movement and we shared some good times and bad times together.
Steve and I talked often and there was never a conversation we had that we didn’t talk about our kids, he was so proud of each and everyone of you.
Kathy, Melissa, Nate, Beth, Tessa and Tyler our love, thoughts and prayers are with you.
To my brother...
