Not sure what to say?

I was dumfounded to have read about Steve's passing on our High School message board last night. I had the pleasure of being a teammate with him on the ice, as well as working along side of him at Wilson's Farm.
He was a one of a kind guy who lived with passion and vigor, the kind of person you could go years without seeing and yet pick right up where you left off.
Simply put Stephen was the one of those guys you never forgot, a personality and persona which left a mark that couldn't...

I just learned about Stephen's passing today. I will cherish the memories he provided during Junior High School. He was cool. He was likeable. Those were very hard to combine at that age but that best describes Stephen to me. At the same time you envied him, you also rooted for him. That is rare and yes, he did have an uncanny and contagious smile. They broke the mold after Stephen. I feel honored to have spent time near him so I cannot imagine your sorrow as parents. But you were...

Dear Fuery Family,

I met Stephen at Jonas Clarke Junior High. He was very sweet to me - as nice a boyfriend as any teenager could hope for. I'm so sorry for your family, please take care.

Sincerely, Monique Leary

To the Fuery Family:

My childhood centered around sports and it seemed that Stephen was on so many of my baseball and hockey teams. I have great memories playing baseball with him at Clarke Jr. High, High School, and in town teams (with his Dad as our coach). He was the first baseman and I was second baseman so I spent countless summer hours right next to him on the field. I remember competing against tough teams and I distinctly remember how gutsy he was and how thrived on the...

To the Entire Fuery Family,

I grew up with Chris and Stephen and am proud to say I know the whole family including the Wilsons.
Stephen was one of a kind. All the kids loved him at Adams School. By the time he reached Clarke Middle School he was a stand out athlete and this carried into his High School years. Steve had so many close friends, and those who cared for him. He had a tremendous sense of humor and always made others smile. His untimely passing came as a shock to me. ...

To the Fuery Family:
I had the good fortune to know Steve back in high school. He was a great guy and had a great sense of humor.
My condolences to all of the Fuery Family on your loss.

I left a note in this book several days ago. In it I said that my wife and I never had the good fortune to meet Stephen. I guess I really proved my lack of familiarity when I misspelled his name. I apologize for my carelessness. I would never intentionally disrespect his memory. My apology and continued condolences.

Samatha, Joey Fuery,
There are no word's to dicribe how very sorry I am for your loss. We will all miss Stephen and his words of wisdom. I had many many talks with Steve and I know how much he loved you both. Steve will live on in our hearts and in Joeys smile. You will be in my thoughts and prayers..Always!!

When I heard of Steve's passing it brought me back to Adams school, and many memories. So sorry for your loss.
