Steve and I have been friends since probably 9th grade. We were in the same grade and were in the youth group at Weatherly Heights Baptist Church together. He was like a big brother to all the girls in the Youth Group. He was generous to give rides to the younger ones who couldn't drive, taking them to Pizza Hut or A&W or wherever we went after church, then driving all of them home.
