Read MoreI was one of Steve's customers at Claudes. He was a friend to me and always supported my artistic endeavors. He used to let me draw in his shop on weekends and sell my art. I spent many hours down there talking with Steve about many things from comics to life in general. Sad to see him go so early in life.

I am very saddened to learn of Stephen's passing. He was so good, kind and generous to me in 1994 when he hosted my appearance at his comic shop to promote my comic book series "eugenus". Over the years I thought of him often. My thoughts and prayers are with his family now. Goodbye Stephen, thank you and I will miss you.
