Not sure what to say?

I got to know Steve when we were both at the beginning of our careers. I was with Bank of Montreal and he was representing Bowery Savings Bank who were funding a tugboat deal. He was brilliant, a tough negotiator but a very warm and funny guy. We kept in touch from time to time and I was deeply sorry to learn of his passing. My sincere sympathy to his family. May he Rest In Peace. Michael Adams

Everyone who new Steve loved him. He was kind, generous, and a wonderful friend, husband, father and brother? I will miss you dearly, as will everyone else. I consider it an honor to have know Steve for 35 years. You will always remain in my families hearts and thoughts. May your travels be peaceful, knowing that you really did make a difference in this world.

Dear Denise,
Steve was a wonderful friend going back to his project finance days. We have very fond memories of the times we got together close at home and faraway. Our heartfelt condolences to you and family.

Wonderful memories from a dear friend that we' ll keep forever in our hearts.
Our love to Denise and their family.

Steve will always be in our hearts and our fond memories will be cherished forever. A special man with such carisma and charm that will be greatly missed by all that had the privilege of knowing him.

Dear Denise and family,

We're so sorry for your loss. We loved getting together with you and Steve in Costa Rica. Our conversations were always stimulating - from trying to develop an LNG business in Costa Rica, to local politics. He was part of the community, - not just another expat retiree. We would have liked to have spent more time with him.

Sincerest condolences to all of the family. Steve was a kind, generous and thoughtful man. He will be missed.

My deepest condolences to Denise and to the entire Gottlieb family on the loss of Steve. I was lucky enough to get to know Steve while working with him over the last few years. He was truly one of the finest men I've ever met. I will keep Steve and your family in my prayers.
