Not sure what to say?

Dear Grandillo family,

I just found out about Steve. I haven't had any requests for violin and accordian (DJ!!!!!) so haven't called him in a while. We wondered why we haven't heard from him and wondered how he was doing. What a shock to hear this news, filled with missing him terribly. We were a team as you probably know. The joke was that he was STU and I was GOTS and together we were "STUGOTS". If you found a small rubber eyeball. Please don't throw it away. It was about his special...

Thanks for the memories. A lot of years with a talented keyboard player, especially for vocalists that never knew the keys she sang in until he made me a list I have to this day, after 50 yrs. Alot of great "gigs" and enjoyed getting to know the young family when we would rehearse at his house by the fish pond in the backyard. Gave me a great start as a singer. Loved seeing him in later years and going over all those years. RIP Steve, will never be forgotten.
Sincerely,
Marilyn Mann

Rest in Peace, Steve - thank you for the music & the artistry.

You'll be making music with the angels now.
I'll miss you my friend. We had a great run togehter.

I will miss Uncle Steve, he was always there to make you laugh or make some music. Sorry I couldn't make it to NY this week but my heart will be with you all today as you gather to celebrate his very full and musical life. XOXOXO

Rest well my dear friend and bandmate...

We were so sorry to hear of Stephen's passing. He was such a character! I'm sure he will be greatly missed, and our sympathy goes out to the family.

When people talk about the "Old neighborhood" Greenleaf Ave. would stack up with any of the great neighborhoods. Mr. and Mrs. Grandillo helped make that neighborhood great. They were always there to help my mother after my brothers and I moved out, for that I will always be thankful
