Not sure what to say?

Steve, Still miss you. Some people have an impact far beyond what they realize and you are one of those special people. Your legacy will remain.

Steve and I were classmates at the University of Minnesota and fraternity members at Phi Chi. He quietly and methodically became the best of medical students--graduating first in our class. It was an honor to know him and I´m sure his patients and coworkers felt the same. My condolences to the family.

May your Father look Proudly down on you Steve...

Steve. You will be missed. Best partner I ever had. You taught me and I hope I taught you a little. I still teach my students and residents that we all learn from each other. I miss you my friend Lamont

Dr Haas was definitely one of my favorite doctors to work with! He was brilliant, a great teacher, and so much fun! RIP Dr Haas. Sending hugs and prayers to Judy.

Judy,

I am so sorry for your loss, the community has lost a medical giant and pioneer. I always smile when I think about him and his knowledge, wit, mannerisms, and his opinions. I so remember diving trips to Mexico with the two of you.

I worked with Dr Haas for many years as a nurse at Regional Health. He was a brilliant man who helped so many people. He used to get mad if his patients were bathing when he made rounds and would say no baths until afternoon. He shared a story with me that when he was a patient in the hospital and wanted to bathe his nurse said sorry no baths before noon. We cater to our Drs not our patients. He had a great sense of humor also.

Thanks to all those who cared for my brother and for your friendship over many years.

I am sad to hear this news. He was the best endocrinologist I ever worked with and helped me with countless patients. It was a great privilege to know and work with him.
