I was about to write to Stephen about "Fire and Ice" and how much I enjoyed this treasure trove of information, but then I discovered he died in 2019. Having climbed most of the Cascades in his book, I wanted to tell Stephen that I was in awe of the incredible Bibliography that he produced in this book -- an amazing collection of research material that must have taken countless hours of work to produce. I attended CSUS in the late 70's and took Dr Harris' course on Greek Mythology. I enjoyed the class so much that I also took his two other courses, Introduction to the Old Testament and Introduction to the New Testament both of which were wonderful. He was an excellent lecturer. I remember wishing that he taught other courses I could take. He left a lasting impression on me and I have remembered his classes often over the last 40+ years.
