Not sure what to say?

My husband, Jason, had the good fortune to buy the house next door to Stephen about 9 years ago. Stephen was just such a good-natured guy and a great neighbor. A lot of the fences in our neighborhood are 6 feet tall, but the one between our backyard and Stephen's is a four-footer--all summer, we'd catch up with him in the backyard at least once a week, talking about the neighborhood, current events, or gardening--he loved his roses and we'd keep an eye on his cut flower seedlings together. ...

Stephen had a very sweet spirit and was very thoughtful. He was always sendinig my husband and I cards for occassions that I didn't even know they made cards for! Stephen was such a caring and wonderful person. I knew Stephen for 3 years and I truly appreciate knowing him and being his friend. Stephen will be missed very much and he was definitely loved. My condolences to his family.

Martha Stewart, lemon bars, fudge @ Christmas time, coupons for my baby formula, the mystery novels with various recipes, reading the obits..."to see if any of my friends have died," the train and RTD, Spinnakers, the "crabby baker" @ Spinnakers...a part of both Cherry Creek and Downtown restaurants for many many years...eighteen years that I have known him! These are the things that remind me of Stephen. He will be missed.
