As I read all of the guest book entries, it is apparent that Steve was exceptional. He was the thread that brought us all together. If you were a friend of Steve's, you were a friend with everyone he knew. I miss him terribly and am sad he has died way too soon. So many memories...so many laughs. Thank you Steve for inviting me into your life. I'm sure you are being rewarded in heaven. Phyllis, Beaux and Bob...I hope your sorrow quickly fades and the sweet memories prevail.

Judy and I met Steve and Phyllis almost 10 years ago, shortly after we moved to Big Lake. Hard to believe, but we met at a bar. It was one of the best things that happened to us during our time in Big Lake. Steve's greatest gift was his generosity followed closely by his sense of humor, dance moves and of course that amazing voice. If there were cocktails and a crowd you could always count on Steve singing some songs straight out of The American Songbook. To me, Steve was bigger than life...

So very blessed to have had the honor and privilege of working along side Steve for many years. He always found faith in me even when my confidence waivered. A man of great integrity, genuine kindness and unmatched wit. A mentor, role model and dear friend. Truly One of a kind and so very missed!
