My prayers, condolences, and whole hearteness is sent to the family. I met Steve up at the Sheriff's Academy. I remember our conversations and our group get together after class and training. I know he was so excited to be a father and spoke so much good things about his wife. He knew how to make people smile. He was helpful when someone in our class needed a helping hand. He also was a very hard worker. He worked with our other classmates for our PT. When we would go down to the pool and hot...

I did not know Stephen or his family, but as someone who lost her partner and the father of her son shortly before he was born, my heart breaks for Stephen's wife and child. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
