Carol, Marg, and Bethy: I was deeply saddened to learn of Steve's passing. I worked for him at TC from 1996-2008, he was a wonderful boss. He was funny, fair, stern at times, we laughed a lot, drank Anchor Steam Beer in his office on Friday afternoons, he was so good to me, and always a gentleman. I learned a lot from him. I will miss him terribly, such a huge loss of a great man. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. God bless you, Steve.

I went to law school with Steve at st Louis university. He was a really nice guy and sharp. There was another investigative reporter in the class whose name escapes me. It was really fun to hear the two of them discuss local politics. God Bless

Steve was as good a friend as one could ever have. Will miss him greatly
