Not sure what to say?

I am sorry to hear of Steve's passing. I had not seen Steve for many years and had the pleasure of running into him last summer. I have many fond memories of Steve when he played Base ball with Split Rock Red Birds with my father Bob Hunt. What a great group of guys. Steve was always very kind to me when I was a child tagging along with my dad to all the games, practices and Old Rock Inn, discussing all games. You will be missed Steve by many.

Sarah, So sorry to hear about your
Dad, you and your family are in my prayers.

Dear Cathy and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. You are all in my thoughts at this difficult time.

Dear Cathy & family
Murray and I were sad to hear of the passing of Steve. We have
fond memories of good times past. Our hearts go out to you
and your family. Much love, Kathy and Murray Grossman

To Sonny's family and my family, my sincere regret at his passing. This quote from Ghandi came to mind when I was reading the wonderful stories...

time for the 2nd.game stephen --you won the 1st. one--love ya.

Not sure if its the same person that coached me in cyo basketball around the mid 70s in onondaga hill, if it was he was a very positive influence on me in the short time I knew him.

Cathy, my thoughts and prayers are with you. He will never be forgotten, he will live in your hearts forever. It's wonderful to have your children by your side. God Bless you all!

My condolences to the Hoey family. I also played Fast Pitch softball with Steve. He was a true student of the game. The first time I ever played with Steve he smashed a homerun over the fence in right field at Meacham Field. He was serious but had a wonderful sense of humor. A true gentleman
