Stephen Millus Howell

Georgetown: Stephen Millus Howell, 57, died Thursday, January 15, 2015, at his residence. Mr. Howell was born in Union on July 25, 1957, a son of the late Rev. Robert Joseph Howell and Doris O'Dell Howell. He grew up in a number of cities in SC and attended Wofford College. Mr. Howell owned the former Shabby's of Pawleys Island and was a general manager of Land's End Restaurant. He loved to fish and travel and was an avid Gamecock football and Duke Blue Devils basketball fan. Mr. Howell was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church of Pawleys Island. Surviving are: his wife, Patrice H. Howell of Myrtle Beach; two brothers, Rev. Dr. Robert J. Howell, Jr. (Patricia) of Summerville and Timothy O'Dell Howell of Greenville; a sister, Anne Howell Scott (Robert) of Georgetown; and a special caregiver, Mark Thomas of Georgetown. In addition to his parents, Mr. Howell was predeceased by his daughter, Jessica Jade Howell. Memorial services will be held at one o'clock on Monday afternoon, January 19, 2015, at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Robert J.
