As a kid growing up, to ski vacations with him and family, to an adult at my sister's wedding last fall, I have so many warm memories of Steve. Among all the great memories of Steve there are none that stand-out stronger than his glowing smile. Simply unforgettable. He will be missed, and always remembered. Our love and thoughts are with his whole family.

Steve was a remarkable man. To him - his family came first. He started the DeGraffenreid List on Rootsweb and worked hard on DeGraffenreid genealogy. He came up with lots of interesting information and actual proof. Paul and I got to know him very well - from the mostly annual DeGraffenreid Reunions. Our hearts go out to Laurie and his children and Jacob - his precious grandson. He will be missed by many, many people. God bless the Jacobson family.
