Although I'd know Polly for years, and traveled the world with Peter, I didn't meet Stephen until 2000. I then spent many hours a week with him over a 3 year time period, while feeding the less fortunate of our citizens in St Pete. Stephen was quite unique and touched alot of lives.

I didn't know Steve well, I only met him a few times. But I felt I knew him because of the stories his dad told me about Stephen and all of the Kersker childre. My youngest son was named Steve. I knew he had problems like many of us do. However, I know that Stephen was a wonderful person who cared about others and helped as many as he could. When I would see him he was kind and loving.
