FR. STEPHEN KILCARR

I remember him reaching out for me when I was struggling. I will remember him.

Father Kilcarr was my Theology Teacher and Varsity Baseball Coach during my time at the Prep from 1973 to 1977. He was a gentleman and a gentle man and he touched the lives of many men during his tenure at the Prep. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those who loved him. Rest In Peace Padre and Hazard Zet Forward.

RIP Fr. Your kindness and humor are still remembered after all these decades. Thank you for being a great teacher, and for the example of a life well lived.

My family left West Orange in 1969. We lived on Benvenue Avenue right by the Church. To this day, I miss what we had there. The Church and Fr. Kilcarr were a huge part of that wonderful feeling of care, community and kindness. He was truly remarkable and will be remembered for years to come.

Thank you for your guidance, patience and coaching while at St Joseph School in West Orange as well as presiding over weddings and baptisms.

I wish I could be there to pay my respects Coach. Be well in Heaven. We'll talk the game again when I get there. My condolences to your family.
