WOODSTOCK – Stephen Klym, 74, of Woodstock, passed away May 30, 2012.
Stephen was born Aug. 10, 1937, in Smoke Run, Pa., and was a lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
He loved his family and his wife's Italian cooking even more than the Steelers, and was one of the lucky few who absolutely loved his job, running Klym Incorporated, an HVAC manufacturers' representative firm, since 1981.
He is survived by his wife, Marian (Kostuch) Klym; his daughter, Toni (Daniel) McLellan; and his son, Stevie.
Steve was a proud grandpa to Jackson, Nolan and Aaron McLellan; and also is survived by his sister, Marty (Chuck) Sholtis; and many loving nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday, June 4, at Skaja Bachmann Funeral Home, 7715 W. Route 14, Crystal Lake. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 5, at the funeral home, followed by interment in Calvary Cemetery in Woodstock.
In lieu of flowers, please send memorial donations to Pioneer Center for Human Services, 4001 Dayton St., McHenry IL 60050.
For information, call the funeral home at 815-455-2233.

Not sure what to say?

Steve was a valued and respected man in the HVACR industry!! I will always remember and treasure the time we spent working together. I feel honored to have known Steve. I give my condolences to the Klym and McLellan family in the loss of a great man.

Steve was a consumate professional in the HVAC industry. He will be missed!

Uncle Steve was a great person who embraced life and cared so much about his family. Although we can't be with you while you remember your loved one, you're in our prayers and thoughts from afar. I recall a wonderful Italian dinner night out in Chicago with Uncle Steve telling stories about my mom when they were growing up. May the love of those around you help you through the days ahead, love is immortal.

Steve,
You were truly one of the best. Thank you for representing Crown Boiler for over 30 years. I feel blessed to have been able to call you my friend. I will always remember business lunches at Sabitino's in Chicago along with stopping for pie at Schreiner's Restaurant when we traveled to WI.

Deepest sympathies for your families great loss. I only knew Stephen through Toni's stories and I know how deeply he loved and was loved. Much love to your family.

Love and strength to the Klym family and to my friends Toni and Dan McLellan.

Though I did not know Stephen, I am lucky enough to know his daughter Toni. As wonderful a woman as she is, undoubtedly he was a wonderful man and a fantastic father. My thoughts and sympathies are with your family.

From the photos I've seen, he truly enjoyed every minute of his life, and passed that talent on to Toni. May his memory live forever in the hearts of your family.

Steve, I will miss you my friend. I am proud to call you my friend. Will miss our meals together when you were on your calls in the Appleton, WI
area. Our sympathy, love, and prayers to Marion and your family.
