I am sorry to hear of Steve's passing. My late husband, Bill, and I knew Steve in graduate school, we attended your wedding. Recently, Bill and he had reconnected, meeting up downtown for lunch and coffee. We always enjoyed Steve's company, a kind soul and such a wealth of knowledge on many interesting subjects. My sincere condolences to the entire family.

I knew Steve from my years at Bartlett High School. I always admired and respected his wit, his integrity, and his uncompromising search for truth. I know you all miss him terribly. The world is a poorer place without him. Requiscat in pace.
