Stephen H. Konick, 73, beloved son of the late Henry and Delores (Tanso) Konick, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, surrounded by his family. 


Stephen was born in Boston and raised in the West End.  He moved to Somerville in his teens and settled into Medford.  For many years, he managed his family’s bar, Hank’s Pub in Downtown Boston.  Stephen was active with the Boy Scouts of America, an avid sports fan, a lover of cars and  loved to play the lottery


Stephen is the loving brother of Robert Konick and his wife Patricia, the late Teresa Glines  and the late Ronald Konick. Cherished uncle of Stephen Glines, Jr., Shannon Glines Dirienzo and her husband Frank, Ronald Konick, Jr. and Tiffany Konick and great uncle to Skyla and Frankie. 


Family and friends are cordially invited to visiting hours at the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway, Powder House Boulevard, Somerville on Wednesday, June 16th, 2021 from 10am to 12pm.  Immediately following visitation, a funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 12pm.  Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
