Not sure what to say?

I worked for Steve at Fina for many years, and then and years after, he remained a true friend. He was the perfect example of a really kind person. The world has really lost a good one. My condolences to his family. He loved you very much and I know he is missed.

Steve was the perfect example of one who always strove to be upright in all his business dealings and caring in friendships. I know of no other for whom I have had higher regard for.
Doug Cobb

Much love to the Korkmas family. I only had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Korkmas once, but from Alex's stories I know he is a man who deeply cared about God, his family, and the Texas Aggies. Sending much light and love to your family.

While I knew this was coming, and we all prayed that we would see Steve recover, it remains hard to put into words the feelings I had when I heard the news, but I would like to try.

I grew up with Steve as our families lived virtually next door to each other until I married and moved from Irving. And while I'm closer with Brian and Craig, who are nearer to my age, Steve was ever present in my experiences on Wingren Road!

I can say that as I thought of Steve, it brought back...

While working at Fina in the early 80's I had the pleasure of meeting Steve and later Lisa. He was always a man of great integrity, something he must have learned from his family upbringing. He was easily liked and admired by all that knew him. His beautiful wife, Lisa, is no different . Together they gained respect from their peers and admiration for creating a wonderful family of their own. And with your family , you now covet the memories of a full and wonderful life Steve had as he rests...

"May the sorrow in our hearts be replaced with the joy of knowing Steve from many years ago. There were some great times at Cistercian and at Texas A&M. We lived in the same apartment complex at A&M and shared many good times with the Dallas group from Cistercian ('75-'76) and Ursuline ('76). What a funny guy - never a dull moment! My thoughts are with all of the Korkmas family members, especially Cathy who was such big part of our lives back in the day. Treasure the memories of Steve as he...

My prayers and deepest sympathy to Steve's family. Steve was definitely one of the good guys who made you feel like a friend from the moment you met. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to have known him, even if not all that well. He was a kind soul. God Bless, Steve.

Dear Lisa, Andrew and Alexander,
We are so very saddened by your loss of your husband and Father, Stephen. Pete and I talked to him at WAPS several times, he was kind and friendly. We send all our prayers to his family who loved and were
loved by Stephen.
We are so grateful for your care and kindness to John, he told us Mr. Korkmas was very smart and funny.
He would tell us many stories and through John, we feel as if we know Stephen well.
John loves Andrew and will always be...

My deepest sympathy to the entire Korkmas family. I knew Steve when he was at Cistercian, he was such a great guy even then. His sister Cathy & I were in the same class at Ursuline '76. I will keep all of you in my prayers.
