I am so sad to hear of your sons passing. I am from Utah and a few years ago (2008) I captured a photo of a flag that had your son's name on it in honor of him. I would love to send this photo to you. It was taken at the healing field in Sandy, UT. He really is a hero!

To the family and friends of Spc. Stephen M. Kowalczyk:
Always remembering Stephen. "Some gave all."

Stephen,

Hey man, you popped into my head again. I was driving my daughter home this morning and that song you hated came on by Diggable Planets "Rebirth of Slick." I remember us arguing why I loved it and you hated it. Take care buddy :/.

I lived, swam, and had the pleasure of being friends with Steve in college. One thing about Steve is that he truly loved life and lived it to the fullest. His laugh was infectious as was his warmth.
God Bless,
Brian

To the family and friends of Spc. Stephen M. Kowalczyk:
Please accept my remembrance of Stephen on the anniversary of his passing and know that he will never be forgotten.
