Steve was a longtime member of the Cheektowaga Zoning Board of Appeals. When I joined that board, I found him to be tough as nails, yet very fair, and someone who had a lot of passion for our town. I learned a lot from Steve working on that board shoulder to shoulder. Tonight is our monthly ZBA meeting, and we will observe a moment of silence in memory of Steve.
