Steve was a big part of my life during our Sweet Adeline years. A friendly rivalry! Later on during his trials with MS -- always a smile, always a delight to be around. He endured so much, never showing any anguish. He was absolutely valiant until the end. He will be missed by me and all of my family. We loved him.

I knew Steve as a wonderful father to both his daughters, one who was my high school love. Despite his physical set backs he never seemed to let anyone see anything less than a smile. I know his passing will leave a large hole that only love and time may fill.

I would not be where I am today if it wasn't for Steve. He put up with a lot of the teenage baggage from me without a grudge. I feel blessed he was a Grandpa to my kids and thankful that he was part of my life. I will miss him dearly.
