I never met Steve, but I wish that I had. I am a graduate of St. John Vianney/Daniel Murphy High School, class of 1966. From what I have read about Steve, he was truly a Noble man. And we as fellow Nobles lived by this creed: The Noble man plans noble deeds, and by noble deeds he stands. Stephen exemplified that.
