Sincere and heartfelt sympathy to the Larrabee family. I am a retired Navy captain who had the honor of knowing Steve during VP squadron deployments to Rota, Spain, where I was stationed. Typical of overseas bases, the officer community is more tight-knit than in the U.S. I recall his kindness to new junior officers such as I, always ready to mentor. Fair winds and following seas to a fine naval officer and human being.
