Stephen Rogers Larson

I just learned today (5/11/21) that Steve had passed away from a mutual friend Tim Johnson. I knew Steve and Sue from coaching a grade school soccer team that included their son Chris and our son Jesse. Steve very generously took on coaching that team for about half of the season of 1986 so I could have an an adventure in Nepal. I ran into Steve every so often at BPA over the years in the course of my job. Steve was a calm, thoughtful, kind man and I liked him a lot. I'm very sorry he's gone.

Steve showed me his favorite running routes in DC when we were working on the EPA92 with BPA's DC staff. When I think of someone humble, Steve is the first person that comes to mind, but he was a giant when it comes to being competent, honest, and reliable. There will never be another Steve. My heart goes out to his family.

Steve was a friend and valued colleague with us at the Office of General Counsel of the Bonneville Power Administration.

Steve was such a sweet man. I enjoyed visiting him when I'd go to work with my mom, Sarah McNary, growing up. I remember playing with Kim too on OGC outings, and Steve being so proud of her. Sending much love to the family.
