Not sure what to say?

I remember Ed so well, the glint in his eye, the ready smile, the wit and intelligence. I miss knowing him and think he is busy doing something special.
Ed was fun and charming. Rest in Peace Edward, your kindness to me was real important to me several times in my life. I am making a donation to the Salvation Army for any support they might have given him. Diane K.

I was pleased to learn from Stephens' aunt, my sister, Ann that Steve had a Mass and a Christian burial followed by a conversational time at his sister Sarah's apartment. I wish I could have been with all of you. The loss of a brother is a monumental loss.
You were able to share so many wonderful, happy times together sailing, at the cottage, as well as trips with the entire family. Do remember those precious days.
God bless you all. Love, Aunt Margot

Thank you to everyone for sharing your memories about Steve. We enjoy reading them. Patricia Leonard Allen

I met Ed in 3rd grade when my little neighborhood school that was closing bumped us up to the BIG school; he fell "in love" with me, followed me home, picked me up and twirled me around, and scared me half-to-death, and was one of the most wonderful people, ever. Had the most amazing, infectious smile - all through HS and oh-so-happy. Which is how I shall always remember you... RIP, and see ya on the back end.....

Some of my early family memories include looking up to my witty and impressive cousin, Steve. He will always remain in my heart that way. My prayers and best wishes for all family and friends who miss him dearly.

To the entire Leonard family, I am so sorry for your loss.
Any time a family member is lost, it's a sad experience.
My thoughts and well wishes are there for you all.
I'm sorry I wasn't there today at the memorial, I checked too late.

My condolences to the Leonard family. Ed's intelligence and wit were second to none. We shared adventures from Wilmette to NYC and many places in between. You will be missed and our friendship never forgotten.

Missing you Steve

Miss you big guy.
