Steve and Your Redstone High School Friends,

Condolences to the whole family, especially Mary Kay and Joe. Steve was a nice guy and very popular at Redstone High School. He will be greatly missed. May your sadness be a short story but your memories a full length novel.

My deepest condolences to Monica and the family on the tragic loss of such a great man. A dear friend and classmate who will be deeply missed. The absence of he and Monica at our class reunions was always noted and while I haven't seen either in a while both are part of our lives, the Redstone Class of 1958.

We feel sorrow for the passing of a dear friend, Stephen Letavec. While he worked at Van Buren Jr. Hi several of us spent many Saturdays hunting in the hills of Southeastern Oh. We also fished by charter boat on Lake Erie. At school there were times when Steve and I would find a place and time to just talk about what ever was on our mind. I try to keep up with my Kettering friends, of which I consider both you and Steve. Steve was a really good man and educator at Kettering Middle School. We lost a good one.
I am thankful I knew Steve and you and now am so glad to hear you have people to take care of you. I am thinking of you, and of Steve.
