I too was in the local projectionist union 182. In my brief moment on the
board Steve was always the most wise. He always struck me as calm even in the midst of the most difficult situations. Rarely did I ever witness any anger in him. In my oh so brief meetings with him over the years he always held this calm demeanor and behind those perpetually sleepy eyes I always perceived a relaxed soul.

I was a projectionist for many years in the Boston/Cambridge area theatres. Steve was one of the first people to train me when I joined IATSE Local 182. We had more in common than movies. Both of us were foodies. And we both enjoyed Early Music. Steve and I were not only work buddies but became friends. Steve, you were so kind. I will cherish my memories of you.
