Mr. and Mrs. Long and Diane,

I have just learned of Stephen's death. I am so saddened at this terrible loss. I have such fond memories of our times together in Greenwood when we were children.

Stephen leaves a great void in your hearts, but his music will play on in your memories forever.

We were so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear son, Stephen. Diane was a classmate of mine at St. Joe and Callaway. We will be saying prayers for your entire family that the Lord will grant you comfort and peace.

I was so sorry to hear of the death of your son. Your aunt Marie was a dear friend of mine and godmother to my daughter, Jan, who was a classmate of your daughter Diane. Our husbands roomed together at Kelly's Boarding House in Greenwood after World War II. Such old but special memories.

You and your sweet family are in our prayers.
