Not sure what to say?

Dearest brother Steve,

Although it's been 4 short years since we had to say goodbye and send you to Jesus, just want you to know we all miss you terribly and think of you often. Needless to say, holidays and get-togethers are not the same with you. We pray you are resting comfortably with the saints and Jesus and that we will meet again someday. forever yours, sister Maureen

I was very sad to hear today about Steve's passing. I hadn't seen Steve since high school when we ran into each other at a Pirates game a few years ago, and it was great to reconnect with him if only briefly. Steve was just a great guy and I've always had tremendous respect for him.

Marty and Mike and the rest of the Lucas family, please know that Karen and I are keeping Steve and all of you in our thoughts and prayers.

Maureen, my prayers and deepest sympathy to you and you family. May your memories comfort you until you meet again in eternity. God bless and keep you. Linda Shaw

Thank you to everyone who was able to join us as we put our brother to rest and sent him to Jesus, and everyone for their thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Steve was larger than life and will be greatly missed by all and anyone who ever met him did not take long to see what kind of person Steve was. His light would shine immediately. God bless everyone for your kindness and thoughtfulness at this difficult time.

Sad to see a VM-78 classmate pass away. Rest in peace, Steve, and my condolences to the Lucas family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Steve was a consummate professional as well as a trusted business partner. All of us at Vulcan Materials Company valued and enjoyed our relationship with Steve . He will be missed by us all. Our deepest condolences to his family, friends and business associates.

Heavy heart today as you are put to rest in Ohio and I am here in North Carolina. I pray that some of our volleyball community will be able to make the trip to celebrate your life with family and friends and be able to share the experience with me via text, phone, or letter. As I opened my mail last night I selfishly expected to see a Christmas card from you. That was our mode of communication over the past 8 years, since I have been gone. I really miss my Pittsburgh friends and am...

Please know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May God hold him in the Hollow of his hands.

Deepest sympathy,
Stephanie and Gene Wyatt (Hurley)

We didn't know Steve well, but he always seemed to be hard at work around the house. Please accept our sincere condolences. Roberta and Chick Agnew, Point Vue Dr. neighbors
