Read MoreI am so sorry that M.J. has lost her soul mate. When my husband, Cliff, worked with Steve at Cal, he became a very good friend to us. One of my fondest memories (among many) is that Steve could not eat anything spicy. We had a Super Bowl party with hot dog and requisite spicy chili. Not only could he not eat the chili, even mustard was out of the question. He will be missed by all of us who knew him. Shari

I worked with Steve at Cal, where we worked hard and enjoyed lots fun times together. Steve was as funny as he was tall. Steve was the definition of "a good guy." Go Bears!
