Not sure what to say?

On Saturday I ran the Cpl Christopher G. Scherer Memorial "I Did The Grid" Run/ Walk with Team Chris and ran with Stephen's name on my bib. Every step I took in the nine miles ran that day were in honor of his heroism and ultimate sacrifice while serving in the armed forces of the United States of America. I completed all three events and rang the bell in his memory each time. Team Chris thanks you from the bottom of our hears and please know how much we and appreciate and remember our Fallen.

Thank you Stephen Wells for your many years of military service. May you never be forgotten.

Steve, as Memorial Day approaches yet again, I think of you more. It was an honor growing up down the road from you and serving on the fire department together. The ultimate honor was being part of your service. Just as I did that day, I will salute you and every other service member. You came from an amazing family. I know they are proud of you.

RIP Soldier. and to his family, God speed.
