A kind and generous man who loved life and the arts, and without whom the Nashville Jazz Workshop would not have thrived like it has in its present location. He was appreciated in life, and is missed.

To the family and friends of Stephen McRedmond. I just today read of Mr. McRedmond's life and death. My father died in June, and I was trying to find pictures of the old Neuhoff building where my Dad worked for 30 years. I found the many stories of the great effort and all the time, thought, knowledge and planning Mr. McRedmond put into his project of revitalizing the Neuhoff building. Stephen was a dear friend, a lover of life, a joyous soul and among the most gentle and kind persons I've know. I will miss him dearly, but am thankful to have had the gift and privilege of his friendship. All my love to Matthew, Anita, Linda and family. Greg G.

There are no words to express the depths of the loss I feel for each of you.

Please know that you were a role model of everything I could not be openly. I'm just a trucker in the closet but our paths have crossed and when we brushed shoulders in this life, you had a great impact on me. My heart felt prayers go out to Matt and the family. I will honor his passing on my next trip out of town under the stars with the Gods, as I am sure he is with them right now. NOTOUTYETTRUCKER.
