Condolences to all Steve's family and loved ones for their loss. My fondest memories of WCNY include Steve's smile and sense of humor. He had such a positive impact on so many people. His bright light has moved on, but he will always be remembered fondly by all who knew him. You've found your peace, Steve, and Heaven can now enjoy all the gifts you bring.

He did good work for the station for all those years. Now he doubtless has been replaced by some tecnology people with no background in art. Too bad. My sympathies for his family.

My sincere condolences to the Meltzer family at this sad time. Steve was a funny, amazingly creative man. I was honored to be able to work with and learn from him, and to unwittingly provide him with plenty of joke material. Rest in peace, Steve.

I can't ever remember seeing Steve when he wasn't smiling, which always made me want to smile, too. So I did! Thank you Steve for all the smiles.

Stephen was a wonderful person and I always enjoyed seeing him when I worked at BOCES/WCNY's GED on TV program. I am sorry for your loss.
