Stephen P. Merren

Steven and I were in AEPi Fraternity together at Indiana University. We only had about 60 brothers so to this day many of us are still very close. I loved the substance of his obituary. Married to a piano teacher, I can totally relate to his love of music and theatre. Beautifully, I can see that Steve always put family before all else. He will be missed but his legacy will continue through his children and grandchildren.

We had the honor of working back stage when Mr. Merren played Tevye in "Fiddler on the Roof." I am certain the young people who worked on that show came away with a new vision of a work ethic and a deeper understanding of Judaism. We remember and honor his work, and extend our condolences to his family and friends.

Judy, I was so sorry to learn about Stephen´s death. Although I never met Stephen, I was so impressed to read about his many talents and accomplishments and the love you shared during the 51 years you spent together in marriage.
