I first came to know Steve in the 1970's through his participation with Troop 176 in Narberth. Even went I went off to College and came back after graduation, Steve was still connected with the Troop. When I moved away from the area, I met up with him about 10 years later at a Boy Scout Council Jamboree. He ate dinner with our Troop. He was genuinly a kind a compassionate gentleman.
