I can't seem to stop thinking of you, Grampy. Every moment I remember another memory and I just miss you so much more. For several years (and pretty much always since I was a kid) you took me on as a another child. You stood in as a father when I needed one and I will never forget that. You taught me tennis, how to tell military time, about birds, and you always showed me actions that you were wonderful person. You were an amazing man, role model, and person. God took you too soon. We never had the pleasure of meeting but having a friendship with Jane and her values I have the sense what he has meant to her and the rest of your family. Hold tight to memories for comfort, lean on your friends for strength and always remember how much you are cared about.
We pray the love of God enfolds you and helps you heal with the passage of time.

My sincere condolences for the loss of your dear love one. The God of comfort promises to "without fail show you favor at the sound of your outcry; as soon as he hears it he will actually answer you. Isaiah 30:19. He will strengthen and fortify you to endure during your grieving process.

May the angels lead you into paradise; may the martyrs come to welcome you and take you to the holy city, the new and eternal Jerusalem. May choirs of angels welcome you and lead you to the bosom of Abraham; and where Lazarus is poor no longer may you find eternal rest.

Steve was like a second Dad to me here in the USA. I respected him so much for the type of Man he was and what he stood for. I will miss our lunches and dinners together and the chats of times gone by. Jane and I always looked so forward to going to DC every summer to be with Steve and Theresa and all the family and boy did we have fun. I will miss him dearly.

We are extremely sorry to learn of the passing of your beloved husband, father and grandfather.
Steve was always such a good and true friend to my dad.
I know my folks will miss him terribly.
