Stephen Moore

I remember Stephen well from Central Elementary & Niles High. He was a person of integrity & we all knew it. I was in his father's class when we heard the news of President Kennedy's death. I had a long visit with him at our 50th class reunion. This old world has lost a great man.

Mr Moore was my Latin teacher. I remember the Latin banquets, and visiting him at his home and listening to his player piano. When I think of a favorite teacher, he always comes to mind. My sincere condolences for his family.

I worked for him in the library as a class one year. What a calming, funny man. God Bless. RIP.

Remember him from my days at OV in the 70´s. A pretty good guy.

Condolences to Mr. Moore's family and friends. He was a memorable teacher at Orchard View. He was among the very best as an educator and role model. May he rest in peace.

As an active member of the OV Class of 1973, I can assure you that there was not a better role model for students than Stephen Moore while he was teaching there. He was intelligent, interesting, involved with many student activities, and could be hilariously funny at the drop of a hat! So many of us were blessed by his time there and he was diligent during his years in the service to stay in touch with us, and definitely maintained his role working in the library alongside Mrs. Heath.
