Steve Moriarty was a great friend to the outsider who came to Seattle to work, far from home and childhood friends. He generously shared his time, family and closest friends with the outsider. I was one of those fortunate people who met Steve soon after arriving in Seattle in January 1979. Kevin, whom I had met in Idaho in the summer of 1978, introduced me to his brother Steve. Little did I know then that thirty years later I would be looking back on a life greatly enriched with events...

Dear Leslie:
I just heard of Steve's passing on the ferry boat as I came in this morning. His long time assistant rides the boat and although I do not know her I did know she worked for Steve. She was acknowledging the kind condolences of a fellow boat person and I over heard the conversation. I knew Steve for more than 25 years. We worked together in the "Asbestos Wars" many years ago. He was an excellent lawyer, a quick wit, a fine gentleman and a true professional. My...

Leslie,
I only knew your husband through his hardwork on his rental properties on Queen Anne but always found him to be very cheerful and friendly. I am deeply sadened to hear of his untimely passing and will hold your family in our prayers.

Until puberty the girls' strategic abilities led them usually to the 'W'. But what was more fun, being November, was the mud that accumulated on the legs, arms and faces of all...

to Pat Moriarty and extended family-
My prayerful condolences on the loss of your brother. We've come a long way from the crazy days of the Newman Center, have we not? So keep the faith even in your sorrow. Sincerely, Henry Huetter, Poulsbo Washington

Hi Steve and Family,
Just to let you know that I appreciated your covering for me on that Social Studies project we (you) worked on back in 1967! Also thanks for letting NCLL win that Juniors baseball game back in 1997. You and Bill Miller looked over and saw that I was struggling to coach so you took pitty on the NCLL boys!
God Bless you Steven Moriarty and Family, Joe Small
