Not sure what to say?

I had the privilege of meeting Stephen during college club volleyball and we stayed in touch as I moved to LA and met up many times when he visited. I always looked forward to hearing about the amazing places he´d traveled to and seeing the stunning photos he´d taken; seeing the world through his lens and the genuine interest he took in each place he visited was fascinating. Though he was taken from this world far too young, his spirit continues to live inside everyone whose life he...

I had the absolute privilege of coaching Stephen at middle school volleyball. Even then, he was wise beyond his years and was such an amazing person, teammate, and player. He helped lead our team to an 8th grade championship and was so proud with the biggest smile and happiness that was often reserved when he competed and was locked in. He was amazing then and now. My heart goes out to his wonderful parents, brothers, and sister.

Stephen took a lot of pride in his work. His level of ownership, professionalism and can-do attitude has inspired me many a times. He has a great ability to problem solve and work through and bring structure ambiguous situations. His clients loved him for the quality of his work product, strategic partnership and transparency. Such a wise head on young shoulders. I have never seen him angry or frazzled - always calm, composed and collected. Stay shining as always.

I started following Stephen several years ago via his generous sharing of photos and stories on Instagram - a favorite thing to brighten a day was to run across some newly posted beauty or adventure. Better yet, was to gently tease him and get a good-natured response occasionally. As I live near his Sacramento family, I always hoped I would meet him one day. Now I share the loss of so many - of a good person in a world that needs more and benefitted from his unique perspectives.

I´m deeply saddened to learn of this news. It feels just like yesterday when Stephen and I were chatting about travel in Italy and other places to visit around the world. I´ve been a huge fan of his travel adventures. I´m gonna miss him. My condolences to the family.

I never met Stephen, but seeing his friendship with my friend Beth (his sister) showed me all I needed to know. Their bond was so close and I felt like I knew Stephen even through Beth´s social media. Sending the entire Morin family so much love and healing energy. Rest in paradise Stephen, I hope you take all the photos you want in heaven

Although I never met Stephen, His images and travels across the world inspired me to do the same. I always looked forward to seeing where and what he was doing! We spoke through social media about trips many times and I always enjoyed his times. My deepest condolences.

He was so inspiring and an academic example that I did my best to emulate. His adventures sparked some travel with my Husband and I and I am truly thankful for his presence in my life.

A gifted and remarkable man. I will always remember him coming to our house to hang out with his high school friends. He was so special and unique and everybody loved him. He will be missed dearly.
