Not sure what to say?

Pic of Chris Bryant and Richard Mueller?

Hello Muellers: You may not remember me but I was with THE CONVERTIBLES and you were kind enough to put several of us up in your home for almost a week while we were on tour in February 1989. I was trying to locate Steve and your son (Richard?) and found this announcement. I'm so sorry for your loss and I grieve with you. I'm attaching a photo of your son and I when he was in Orange County at some point. Please look me up ([email protected])

Dear Mueller family-- I just found out about Steve's passing. I worked with him in 1979-80-- I was AM/NW's first official intern, and then got hired as a PA...he was my first director, and I still in my office, after all these years, have the saying he had framed for me when I left: MISTAKES LEAVE HERE AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT, DIRECTOR'S MOTTO. I sat next to him in the booth as he patiently tried to teach me how to "AD" and back-time a live show. I still remember the day he taught me the...

Dear Mrs Mueller,
My deepest condolences go out to you on the loss of your husband. We were at Rich and Ranee's for dinner tonight and enjoyed the company of all the children- what a wonderful family! Lisa Strong

I've had requests for Carol's mailing address, and would like it myself. If someone from the family reads this, could you please email me directly? Meanwhile, still sending healing prayers your way!

Steve helped me with countless public service announcements during the years I worked at KATU. He was a patient teacher, and I appreciated his good spirits. His colleagues deeply admired him, I among them. Gratitude is the heart's memory" -- Gratefully, Joella Werlin

Carol & Family...

I saw the obituary today, and realized I recognized Stephen's name from my yearbook. I was also from the Class of '65 at Lake Oswego. My name then was Delores Minkler. Sorry to learn of your loss. My memories of Stephen in my high school days will always be of his ever present smile! He was a kind and friendly fellow who I will remember fondly. May God be your strength as you come to terms with your loss.

Farewell Steve, memories of school will always include a nice guy like you!

Every moment, Steve lived life as a man of inspiration, quality and class. Those of us who had opportunities to work and spend time with Steve know that his passing is a great loss and also realize that knowing him is an everlasting gift and a blessing. My deepest sympathies to Carol and the rest of Steve's loving family. Your hearts will forever be enriched by memories of a very, very special man.

Steve, What a joy to have worked with you and been your friend for so many years. Thank you for being a shining light. I'll see you in the blink of an eye my dear friend.
