Stephen E. Nederostek, 79, of Moore Township, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Anderson Campus, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Christine R. (Curiel) Nederostek for 56 years. He was the son of the late Andrew G. and Margaret R. (Zadzora) Nederostek. After graduating Northampton High School in 1963, he served in the U.S. Navy as a corpsman during the Vietnam Era. He was most proud to have been a PA State Trooper for 25 years and was a member of the PSP Retirees Association. Earning his Eagle Scout Award as a youth, hunting, especially with his muzzle loader, fishing, and wine making gave him great pleasure.
In addition to his wife, Stephen is survived by his son, Eric S. Nederostek and wife, Laura; daughter, Renee E. Nederostek and companion, Jeremy Wellington; grandchildren, Colin, Chase, Clayton, Anavey and Aiyana; and many nieces and nephews. Stephen was predeceased by his brothers, John M. and Andrew B. Nederostek.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 11th at 10:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 117 Washington St., Bath. Family and friends may call on Monday night from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Interment will follow in Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery, Northampton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to the church in Stephen’s memory. Online condolences may be submitted below.
