Not sure what to say?

Today I was shocked to hear of Steve's passing last week. We never met but became good phone friends the last 3 years. My sincere condolensces go to his family, students, and colleagues at this time.

Karen, Mike and Andy please accept our most sincere sympathies and condolences. Karen, I am remembering the many conversations we would have at my weekly piano lessons. Our conversations often turned to stories of our families and our sons. You have such a loving, caring family; may you find comfort in one another and in all the friends who will surely surround you with love, comfort and caring in this time of tremendous loss. I can't wait to put my arms around you and give you a big hug!...

To Stephen's family and those in his life who love him dearly,

My heart goes out to each of you because a wonderful man has left us.

May time heal the hurt and may the sadness we feel be soothed.

Know that he lives on-always, in the hearts, souls and memories of those he touched, and the lives he made a difference in.

Please accept my condolences and know that your family is in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

The Lorenz Family

Karen, Mike, and Andy, please accept our deepest sympathies upon Steve's tragic death. Our thoughts and prayers have been and continue to be with you. We have fond memories of Steve from church and high school band--so much talent, ability, and always a smile.

This is a picture from the ISU competition that made Mr. Nedzel cry with joy because the band made it into the finals competition.

Mr. Steve Nedzel was the heart & soul of the Marching Warriors and the whole LW community is heart broken with the news of his passing. He was an awesome band director, who went the extra mile to bring out the best in his students and they loved him like family. He will be greatly missed. Our prayer is that God's love will surround his family and friends & strengthen us all for these difficult days.

To the family and friends of Stephen, may the god of all comfort be with you as you try to make it through these difficult times.
